I know I'm a little late with this post, but I'm super excited that Starbucks is getting with the almond milk program.

According to the Starbucks Newsroom “Starting September 6, Starbucks Almondmilk will be available in more than 4,600 stores as a non-dairy alternative, in addition to soymilk and coconutmilk. Almondmilk will initially be available in company-operated and -licensed stores in the Pacific Northwest, Northern California, New York, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, kicking off a nationwide rollout that will be complete by the end of September. It will be available for use in Starbucks handcrafted beverages, including hot or iced drinks and Frappuccino® blended beverages.”

Woo hoo! I've been waiting for this for ages. Soy milk has never agreed with my stomach and coconut milk has never agreed with my taste buds, so almond milk has always been my non-dairy substitute of choice.

In other news, Peet's Coffee and Tea is now serving Vegan Whipped Cream!!! Now, these are the things that dreams are made of…vegan whipped cream and almond milk lattes…sigh…what's next? Hmm…what about an all vegan coffee shop with vegan baked goods. Let's make it happen! 🙂 lol
