Spicy Chickpea Salad Jar

Spicy Chickpeas

  • 1/2 cup chickpeas cooked
  • 2 tsp Cayenne depending on spice preference
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp coconut aminos or low sodium soy sauce


  • 1/2 cup quinoa cooked
  • 1 1/2 cup lettuce add more greens if they fit in your jar


  • 1 1/2 tbsp oil free hummus
  • 1 tbsp spicy brown mustard
  • 1 lemon juice
  • fresh black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried dill or parsley


Spicy Chickpeas

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Add chickpea ingredients into a bowl and mix until well combined.
  • Add chickpeas onto your pan and place in the oven for about 15 minutes or until desired crispiness.

Spicy Mustard Dressing

  • Whisk all ingredients until creamy. Add more lemon juice if necessary.


  • Load chickpeas, dressing, and the rest of the salad ingredients into your jar and store in fridge until ready to serve.


Plan Ahead – Prepare chickpeas the night before.
