Lentil Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup cooked lentils (not red)
  • 1 medium yellow onion minced
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce of your choice
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup vegan worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions
 

  • Line a large skillet with water or veggie broth over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and saute until the onions begin to turn translucent.
  • Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
  • Continue cooking the mixture over medium-low heat until completely warmed through and thick, stirring occasionally – about 5-10 minutes. Serve on toasted rolls or burger buns
