Crispy Fries with Salad
Ingredients
Tahini Dressing
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 2 tsp garlic powder
Fries
- 1-2 large potatoes
- 2 large handfuls of preferred greens
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- black pepper season to taste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric optional
- 1/2 avocado optional
Instructions
Fries
- Slice potatoes into fries. Soak for 15-20 minutes and remove from liquid. Season with black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and some turmeric. Bake for 35-40 minutes in a 450 degree oven. Add fries to mixed greens with avo and tahini dressing.
Tahini Dressing
- Combine ingredients in small bowl and mix until creamy.
Notes
Tip – Soaking potatoes remove excess starch and allows for crispy fries.
Substitution – Use sweet potatoes instead of regular.
Lower Fat Option – Use fat free hummus instead of tahini for dressing.
